Our Philosophy

We believe that a supportive, healing environment is essential in order for change and growth to occur. We seek to offer such an environment to clients and help them create that in their lives and relationships.

Our therapeutic approach is empathic, nonjudgmental, and interpersonal in nature. We strive to help clients understand themselves and the roots of their problems, to identify and change dysfunctional behaviors and patterns, and to develop more effective strategies for coping. We utilize an integrative treatment model which incorporates interpersonal, motivational, and cognitive-behavioral techniques and is individualized to each client.
