Danielle Couture is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate who provides compassionate, client-centered therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. She earned her Master of Social Work with a concentration in mental health and clinical practice, as well as dual undergraduate degrees in Elementary Education and Studio Art. Danielle integrates her background in education and creativity into her therapeutic work, using both structure and imagination to make therapy a meaningful and personalized experience for every client.

Danielle is deeply committed to helping clients build emotional awareness, resilience, and self-compassion. She believes that effective therapy begins with safety and connection, and she strives to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients of all ages feel seen and supported. Her sessions are guided by curiosity, empathy, and respect for each individual’s story and pace of healing.

Drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities, Danielle incorporates elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and creative and expressive interventions. Her approach is flexible and developmentally informed, allowing her to meet clients exactly where they are—whether helping a child express emotions through play, guiding a teen through identity exploration, or supporting an adult in navigating life transitions and relationships.

Danielle has experience treating a broad spectrum of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, neurodiversity, substance use, trauma, relationship challenges, and eating disorders. She is particularly passionate about helping clients who feel “stuck” or disconnected from themselves reconnect with their values and strengths, fostering a sense of empowerment and growth.

Beyond her clinical work, Danielle values collaboration and education. She enjoys partnering with families, schools, and community providers to create cohesive support systems for her clients. Her background in both teaching and art informs her creative approach to therapy, encouraging clients to explore emotional expression and problem-solving through multiple forms of communication.

At Chrysalis Center, Danielle embodies the mission of restoring hope and empowering change. Through her authenticity, compassion, and integrative clinical style, she helps clients of all ages move toward greater understanding, confidence, and lasting emotional well-being.
