Macy Baynor, MSW, LCSW
ASSISTANT CLINICAL DIRECTOR
Macy Baynor graduated from University of North Carolina Wilmington with a masters degree in social work. Upon graduation, Macy worked in community based mental health, Intensive In Home services-Team Lead for children, adolescents, and their families for roughly three years. Macy worked closely with her clients and their families in their home environment utilizing crisis interventions and family therapy to foster resilience and build a foundation for lasting mental health and well being.
Since, Macy has transitioned to Chrysalis Center where she specializes in treating children, adolescents, and young adults with Eating Disorders. Macy has honed in on her leadership and crisis management skills to effectively address acute situations and create a safe environment for healing and recovery. Macy has been treating ED at Chrysalis Center for over three years now and recently transitioned into Assistant Clinical Director position where she will be head in onboarding and training of new staff, providing supervision, and taking the lead in outreach and education. Now stepping into a leadership role within the practice, Macy is excited to guide and empower our team, foster a culture of growth and excellence, and ensure we continue delivering high-quality care to our clients while advancing our mission of healing and hope.
