(she, her, hers)

Staley Temple is a Master of Social Work (MSW) intern at Chrysalis Center for Counseling and Eating Disorder Treatment. She is currently pursuing her graduate degree at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW), where she also earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Applied Behavior Analysis. Staley is passionate about supporting individuals and families as they navigate challenges, deepen self-understanding, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

Staley’s clinical training has focused on Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused approaches, and she continues to grow her skills through hands-on experience and professional mentorship. She brings curiosity, openness, and empathy to every client interaction, believing that effective therapy begins with genuine connection and trust.

She has experience working with adolescents and is interested in supporting clients across the lifespan who are navigating eating disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and other mental health concerns. Staley is particularly drawn to helping clients develop greater emotional awareness, self-compassion, and confidence as they move through recovery and personal growth.

Staley’s therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. She strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood, fostering an environment that promotes both vulnerability and empowerment. Her compassionate care and client-focused approach encourage healing, resilience, and the development of practical coping tools that support long-term well-being.

Staley is excited to continue her professional journey with Chrysalis Center, where she is refining her clinical skills and learning from an experienced, multidisciplinary team. She looks forward to contributing to the Chrysalis mission of restoring hope and empowering change—helping clients build lives defined by balance, authenticity, and growth.
